Our pastoral counseling practice is to meet one to three times in person. Then, if further counseling is required or more specific needs are identified, we are blessed with some great partners for referral. Those partners include a counselor, Jill, who offices out of our church site whom we highly recommend.

It takes a lot of courage to come to counseling and work through life’s challenges!
I believe the key to effective therapy lies in first building a caring, empathetic and genuine relationship with my clients. I utilize a collaborative approach, and partner with my clients to come up with effective solutions for living a better, healthier life.
I provide individual, relationship and family counseling. I am also Prepare/Enrich certified and offer pre-marital counseling sessions to couples at a very reasonable cost. I help clients work through marriage and relationship challenges, anxiety and depression, trauma, as well as self-esteem & grief and loss issues. I also work with children and teens struggling with family dynamics and divorce, school, friendship & belonging challenges, or who face anxiety, depression or are engaged in self-harm behaviors. As a Christian, I offer the integration of faith-based counseling if desired by the client.
Please visit my website for more detailed information: www.bravesoul.org, or you can contact me at 612-242-1224 (call or text). I look forward to working with you on your journey!
“Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: you don’t give up.” ~ Anne Lamott
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
